Shorebirds
This week we continue our exploration of long-legged water birds. Shorter than Cranes, Herons and Egrets are Shorebirds. Two of the tallest shorebirds both have a beak that gently curves upward. They are the American Avocet (left) and the Black Necked Stilt (right). They are found near water in marshy habitats. The video to paint this scene is now available on www.showcaseartcenter.com. We will paint together live at showcase Tuesday and Wednesday 2:00-4:00 PM MDT. You may also join class via zoom by booking on the class page before it starts. The independent painting groups will also meet Tuesday or Wednesday 10:00-noon. It should be a good weekend to birdwatch. Good luck and happy hunting! (When hunting, shoot with a camera)
