Save your fork

I remember a great sermon titled "Save Your Fork". The sermon described the wonderful words that were recited after a great meal, "Save Your Fork". It was a promise of a sweet treat ending to the meal. The minister likened it to heaven following a great life. I know that most of us enjoyed Thanksgiving this week with a wonderful feast followed by dessert. Desserts are fun to paint. Well known artist Wayne Thiebaud made a career out of painting cakes and pies in a graphic realistic manner. Tuesday we will paint my pumpkin pie still life or use your own photo as we enjoy a low calorie version of dessert that will last forever.
