Cold Chickadee
As we enter into the winter season, I thought it would be interesting to choose "windows" as a theme for the month. Windows are a symbol for openings. Whether you are looking in or looking out, the view is different. This lesson took the window theme as a way to explore textures: frost, wood, pinecone, bird, and frosted glass. I used masking fluid, plastic wrap and quarter inch tape in addition to the regular supplies. The how-to video is up on the video class page of www.ShowcaseArtCenter.com. We will paint this project step by step together Tuesday or Wednesday 2-4 PM MST. There is also a group painting class Tuesday and Wednesday 10-noon. Book your session to join via zoom. Details on the web site. Expecting snow this week - it should get us in the mood to paint "Cold Chickadee".
