Colette Pitcher, the owner, is an Internationally recognized artist who has inspired others to try their hand in the arts by teaching and writing best-selling books and magazine articles. She is a working artist and has juried art shows, run popular art galleries, won numerous awards, and is a signature member of the Colorado Watercolor Society. To produce a work of art, no matter what medium, involves much more than just skill or talent.
Each piece requires inspiration and planning. The idea for art can come from anywhere: a photograph that you took, an outdoor scene, flowers and nature, objects or people.
Some people know from an early age that they want to be an artist and some find that later in life is the time for them to express their creativity. Whatever the case, the calling comes from the soul and an artist puts a piece of themselves into every project.
Our art reflects who we are as a person and the deep caring and love that goes into each piece and comes out in the art. That's why it is sometimes so hard to let pieces go. Each painting or sculpture makes us a better person.
The one hope we have is that a buyer will feel what went into creating the art and that it will make them happy when they see it. That is our greatest achievement.
